A quiet room
In which to look
A young boy hefts
A curious book
The cover brilliant
And pages light
His intentions are fixed
On this beckoning sight
Page by page
His imaginations soar
His feet once grounded
Now leave the floor
A new world thrills
His every sense
A book transforms
To magic from hence

Let go of her life when ambitions were known
All the while the force could explain
The Jedis’ intent. The Chancellor’s disdain
Darkened. Lost. [...]

Patient he was for my call
Just then, a moment of silence overcame
and in that moment I felt meaning
Yet feared I still the time of its departure
No heed gave he to my lack of faith
A smile was all it took to sooth
A gentle smile, how bold, how pure
Doubt acknowledged defeat
And there I sat [...]

I’m calmed by this steady pace
Growing, ever growing
Illumination taking place
Simple yet elegant
Gentleness with grace
Ignorant of attention
Yet brilliance dawns her face
