While reading on the first part, seems like this kid punished by her father. That he let his daughter be alone in the middle of the forest the whole night. But at the end of the story, it really changes the mind of reader. And yes its right, comparing the story with our real life. Though we didn’t see God but still He is always there protecting us. I'm sure you've heard the story of Davy Crockett in congress. He learned that it's always easier to be generous with someone else's money. I have to be careful of this myself. I don't think we're immune from going down this path just because we're not in public office. It's tempting to grab welfare, Pell grants, housing money, etc...
